This exciting film debut of director Michael Mayer, exceeds expectations for a politically charged gay film. Nimr, a Palestinian psychology student from Ramallah, dreams of someday studying at the prestigious Princeton University in America. During one of his illegal nightly forays in Tel Aviv, he meets the Israeli attorney Roy and they fall head over heels in love. All too soon, their dreams are confronted with the intolerance and the reality of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
